I received this message in an email from my good friends and affiliates at Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes.... must read for ALL artists and DJ's looking for collabs, verses, etc....
INDUSTRY ALERT:
DO NOT BUY VERSES FROM AnR DREAM
At Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes, we have always been about doing good business and frown upon those that take advantage of independent artists. Thats why we are sending out this message warning all the independent artists that we are in contact with about the shady business dealing of AnR Dream, Affiliated Records and their artist Shorty-O.
We have been speaking with AnR Dream about doing business regarding old Lil Wayne, Game, Rick Ross and Snoop Dogg verses that he had and was trying to sell. The prices were fair and the verses were available for streaming before you buy them so everything seemed good. However, when speaking with him we made sure that none of the verses were taken, sold or leaked in any way.
This week, we had 2 different independent artists use Lil Wayne features on our mixtape, Coast 2 Coast Vol. 64 - Hosted By Jay Rock. After listening, we realized that the verses on those songs were the same verses that AnR Dream was still trying to sell to us. So, we immediatly called him and first thing asked him was if he had sold those Lil Wayne verses to anyone, he said, "No, they are all open to purchase and they have not been sold to anyone." We then explained to him that we had both verses already on our mixtape on someone elses song. At that time he tried to claim that, "Dj Vlad's manager had the acapellas and sent them to some kid that stole them." We then asked if "Dj Vlad's manager" had all the verses and he said, "Ya, he has all the acapellas cause he is helping me sell them."
In conclusion, these people are lying and trying to steal money from independent artists. Even if his story is true, that means that "DJ Vlads Manager" is leaking and side selling the acapellas to people so overall, all the verses that he has are sold or already used. Also, even if his story is true he knew the verses were sold and leaked and still said no one has them and that they are available for sale. Luckily we found this out before spending any money with him and we wanted to make sure he didn't rob anyone else of their money so beware and dont do business with any of them. AnR Dream also runs Affiliate Records and has an artist named ShortyO so look out for them and keep them on your scam radar! You can see the proof for yourself below.

Introduction - Welcome to The Militia's Blog Site!!
What's good everyone..
This is Black Magic (Producer/DJ/Songwriter, & 1/8th of the Militia).
Some Brief Info to introduce The Militia:
1) We originally formed on mid summer 2004 (the original 4 members at the time were me, Ja'Juan "Big J" (aka DJ Black Magic) Burrell - 16 yrs old, Will "Mook" (aka Mookdogg) Hardy - 13 yrs. old, Mike "Mikey G." Grumbach - 16 years old, and Tyler "T-Time" Gibson - 14 years old
2) We dropped mixtapes and albums up until July of 2006, then decided to split for a while for personal reasons (we still were a tight-knit group of friends, just taking a break from recording)
3) In the Meanwhile, i took the producing road, launching my "Black Magic Entertainment" SoundClick Page in August of 2006, which now has over 1,000,000 song hits and well over 200,000 page views!
4) We decided to come together to push our music to the next level now.. in 2009... with a few additional faces added to the roster... you will learn about them very, very soon!
Our Music Group is looking forward to doing very big things in 2009... i hope you take this journey of grind and determination in the industry with us and keep posted... We will begin posting very frequent starting on Saturday, January 10th, 2009!!!

2) We dropped mixtapes and albums up until July of 2006, then decided to split for a while for personal reasons (we still were a tight-knit group of friends, just taking a break from recording)
3) In the Meanwhile, i took the producing road, launching my "Black Magic Entertainment" SoundClick Page in August of 2006, which now has over 1,000,000 song hits and well over 200,000 page views!
4) We decided to come together to push our music to the next level now.. in 2009... with a few additional faces added to the roster... you will learn about them very, very soon!
Our Music Group is looking forward to doing very big things in 2009... i hope you take this journey of grind and determination in the industry with us and keep posted... We will begin posting very frequent starting on Saturday, January 10th, 2009!!!
